HERMAN ROY BOYD, age 97, of Murfreesboro, TN. died Wednesday, Dec. 10, 2008 at Tennessee Veterans Home. He was born in Rutherford County and was the son of the late Will & Lottie Florence Dunnaway Boyd. He is survived by his daughters; Annie Marie Coulter of Murfreesboro and Alice Tomlin of Hendersonville; eight grandchildren including Jeff Coulter, Elizabeth A. (Beth) Royalty, Denise Tomlin and Dennis Tomlin and four great grandchildren Funeral services will be at 1 pm Saturday at Woodfin Memorial Chapel with Rev. Mike Lee officiating. Burial will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens. Visitation with the family will be from 5-7 pm Friday and after 12:00 on Saturday. Mr. Boyd was a veteran of the United States Army, a member of the First Baptist Church of Murfreesboro and a retired mechanic with Hopkins Wheel Alignment of Murfreesboro.
