HENRY C. SMITH, age 76, of the Fellowship Community died Tuesday, June 10, 2008. He was born in Wilson County and was the son of the late John & Sarah Baird Smith. He is survived by his loving wife, Betty Vance Smith; daughters, Teresia King (Mike) Caldwell, Murfreesboro and Cathy King (Charlie) Barrett of Murfreesboro; sons, Joe Moore of Woodbury, James Porky King, Lebanon and Terry King of Murfreesboro; brothers, Jim (Betsy) Smith, Fellowship Community and Paul Smith, Murfreesboro; sisters, Martha (Harold) Hackett, Mt. Juliet, Lucille Waters, Jacksonville, Florida and Ruth Smith, Smyrna, eight grandchildren and two great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his two brothers, Calvin Smith and Eugene Smith Funeral services will be at 10:30 am Friday at Woodfin Chapel, Smyrna with Rev. Milton Hicks officiating. Burial will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens. Visitation with the family will be 4-8 pm Thursday. Mr. Smith was a member of Living Springs Baptist Church and retired from Birmingham Nashville Express. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
