Helen Patricia Eagan Turney, age 69, passed away on April 3, 2018 in Lake Zurich, IL. She was born August 27, 1948 at Fort Bragg, NC to the late Patrick H. and Helen I. Eagan. She was also preceded in death by her husband of 41 years, William "Bill" J. Turney and her half brother, George S. Howes.

Mrs. Turney is survived by her brother, Patrick D. Eagan of Tullahoma, TN, niece, Paige Eagan-Beck of St. Joseph, MI, nephews, David Howes (Debra) of Wilson, NC and Christopher Howes (Ying) of Szechuan, China, mother-in-law, Mrs. Evelyn Turney of Murfreesboro, TN.

Mrs. Turney attended Campus School and graduated from Murfreesboro Central High School. She attended the St. Thomas School of Nursing, becoming a Licensed Practical Nurse. She subsequently held nursing roles at St. Thomas, Baptist and Rutherford County Hospitals.

Helen and Bill were longtime residents of Schaumburg, IL where Bill was an Electrical Engineer for the Motorola Corporation.

Graveside service will be 3:00pm Friday, June 1, 2018 at Evergreen Cemetery.
