HELEN MARIE LONG age 67 of LaFayette, went home to be with her Lord and Savior Tuesday Februaury 26, 2013. A native of Rutherford County, she was the daughter of the late Eddie and Callie Wilson Brewer. Funeral service will be 11:00am Friday at Woodfin Chapel Smyrna, with Brother Steve Pendergrass officiaiting. Burial will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens, with family and friends serving as pallbearers. Ms. Long is survived by a son; Jeff and his wife Barbara Long of Smyrna, two daughters; Tiwana Victory of LaVergne, Cricket and her husband Nathan Blankenship of LaFayette, a sister Judy and her husband David Burgess of Waynesboro, brother Paul and his wife Wanda Brewer of Manchester, 12 grandchildren, and 18 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a sister Evie Brewer, and a brother Doug Brewer. Visitation will be 10:00 until 8:00 Thursday at Woodfin Chapel Smyrna.
