HELEN VONCILE VONNIE JOHNSON JONES age 78 of Murfreesboro, TN, died Sunday February 6, 2011. A native of Pahokee, FL, she was the daughter of the late Lee Roy and Hattie Drawdy Johnson and was married to the late Obet S. Jones, Sr. who died in 2001. Mrs. Jones is survived by daughters, Nita Scruggs of Murfreesboro, TN and Elizabeth Ann Falcon of Destrehan, La; son, Obet S Buddy Jones, Jr. of Arlington, TX; sister, Wanda Vaught of Lake Placid, FL; 6 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. Graveside services will be 11:30 AM Wednesday at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Hendersonville, NC with Rev. Merwin Travis Scruggs officiating. Family visitation will be 30 minutes prior to graveside service on Wednesday at Forest Lawn Funeral Home. Mrs. Jones was a member of the Baptist Church and Homemaker.
