Helen Ruth Hawkins, age 85 of Murfreesboro, TN, passed away Tuesday June 16, 2015. A native of Hamden, OH, she was the daughter of the late Andrew Herbert and Ruth Irene Morley Wilbur. Mrs. Hawkins was also preceded in death by her husband Clyde B. Hawkins who died in 1973, brothers, Bill and David Wilbur and sister, Louise Harvey. Mrs. Hawkins is survived by her sisters, Carol Hawkins of Antioch, TN, Linda Kitzmiller of Pickerington, OH, and Ann Canode of Wellston, OH. Funeral service will be 4:00 PM Thursday June 18, 2015 at Woodfin Memorial Chapel with Dr. Mike Norris officiating. Burial will follow in the Triune Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to funeral service. Mrs. Hawkins was a member of Franklin Road Baptist Church, and was retired from United Service Equipment Company as assistant purchasing director.
