Helen Wanda Davis Pittman, age 89 of LaVergne, TN, passed away Wednesday October 30, 2013. A native of Spaulding, OK, she was the daughter of the late James Bethlehem and Annie Mae Shores Davis. Mrs. Pittman was also preceded in death by her husband, Chester Odell Pittman who died in 2002, and by eight brothers, and one sister. Mrs. Pittman is survived by her son and daughter in law, Eddie and Teresa Parker Pittman of LaVergne, TN; brothers, Kenneth Davis of Oklahoma City, OK; grandchildren, Ashlie and Brittany Pittman both of LaVergne, TN. Funeral service will be 2:00 PM Saturday at Woodfin Chapel, Smyrna, with Brother Ralph "Buddy" Neal officiating. Burial will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens with John Barlog, Bobby and Brandon Dial, Rob Schneider, Marty Smith, and Randy Hickey serving as pallbearers.
