Helen Elsie Keng Carlton, age 84 of Eagleville died Tuesday May 2, 2017.  She was a native of Lee County (Giddings), TX and was preceded in death by a daughter, Patricia Ann Carlton Jones; parents, Leslie Fred Keng and Emilie Gertrude Placke Keng; and one brother.  Mrs. Carlton was a member of Family Worship Center in Murfreesboro, she was co-owner of Carlton Christian Bookstore in Memphis, a realtor, a devoted pastor's wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.

Mrs. Carlton is survived by her husband of 67 years, Rev. Marvin B. Carlton; children, Gary Allen Carlton and wife Luz of Eagleville, John Leslie Carlton of Hermitage, Michael Ray Carlton of Nashville, Pamela Carlton Johnson of Murfreesboro; grandchildren, John Ed Marchak, Stephanie Carlton Carpenter, Stephen Allen Carlton, Stewart Aaron Carlton, Joshua Vasquez, Jacob Israel Alvarez, Jeremiah Allen Carlton, Jireh Aliyah Carlton, John Andrew Carlton, Bradley Bell Carlton, Chip Ernest Carlton, Brittney Carlton Swanson, Breanna Carlton Weaver, Charles Keith Johnson, Chad Austin Johnson, Chelsi Brooke Johnson, Christina Aneé Johnson; thirteen great-grandchildren; two sisters, and one brother.
