Mrs. Hazel Spaldo, age 92, of Murfreesboro but formerly of Smyrna, Tn. died Thursday, June 19, 2008 at Blvd. Terrace Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. She was born in Pennsylvania. Graveside services 1 pm Monday at Roselawn Memorial Gardens with Rev. Carl Scarlett officiating. Visitation with the family 10:30 am to 12:30 pm Monday at Woodfin Memorial Chapel, Murfreesboro. She is survived by her loving niece, Marianne Simcox and her husband, Reid of Haymarket, Va.; great nephew, Morgan Simcox of Haymarket, Va. Mrs. Spaldo was married to the late Salvatore P. Spaldo who died in 1989. She was a former member of the Church of the Nazarene and a former employee of Macys of New York. The family wishes to express their gratitude to the Staff of Blvd. Terrace Nursing and Rehabilitation Center for the excellent care given to Mrs. Spaldo.
