HAZEL MILLER RIGNEY TAYLOR ALEXANDER CHURCH, of Murfreesboro, died January 20, 2011 at NHC. She was a native of Christiana, TN, and daughter of the late Willie and May Love Smotherman Miller. Graveside services will be Sunday at 1:00 PM at Miller Cemetery in Christiana with Rev. Bob Bush officiating. Visitation will be Saturday from 2:00 until 6:00 PM at Woodfin Memorial Chapel. Mrs. Church is survived by her husband, Herman Church of Ocala, FL; son, Steve (Brenda) Rigney of Smithville, daughter, Susan (Eddie) Patterson of Murfreesboro; grandson, Jeff Rigney of Crossville; and granddaughter, Hannah Rigney of Crossville. Mrs. Church was preceded in death by husbands, Everette Rigney, James W. Taylor, and Clay Alexander, and a brother, Dr. Douglas L. Miller. Mrs. Church was a member of Christiana Church of Christ a retired secretary for the Rutherford County Board of Education. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
