HASKELL DEE MELTON, age 74 of Murfreesboro died Saturday, April 17, 2010. He was a native of Cannon County and the son of the late Foster and Ruth McGhee Melton. He is survived by his wife, Bonnie Carlene Melton, son and daughter-in-law, Stephen M. and Tara Melton of Christiana, stepdaughter, Tina (Jay) Johnson of Readyville, brother, Ray (Vannie) Melton of Elora, TN, grandchildren, Britney Lowe, and great grandchild, Dillon Castillo. Mr. Melton was a 1954 graduate of Central High School, a member of Bradley Creek Baptist Church, and a sales representative for Murfreesboro Pure Milk Company. He then retired as a traveling sales representative for ARC Tread Rubber. Funeral service will be 10:00 am Tuesday at Woodfin Memorial Chapel. Rev. Doyle Hayes will officiate. Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be Terrell Melton, Jack Melton, David Puckett, Steve Jerrell, Melvin Cunningham, and Gary Redmon.
