Harvey Harrison, age 81, of Murfreesboro, TN, died on Sunday, September 10, 2017. A native of Rutherford County, he was preceded in death by his parents, Colie and Mazie Harrison Jr; wife, Ruth Joy Hayes Harrison; and siblings, Beecher Harrison and Margie Harrison Powers.

He is survived by his daughters; Rita Ash and her husband Don and Judy Reed and her husband Eddy; grandchildren, Julia McKenna, Taylor Ash, Hugh Hanna, Joy Ash-Galland, Justin Reed and Harrison Reed; sister, Nancy Potts; and brother, Charlie Harrison.

Mr. Harrison was a member of First United Methodist Church. He was a graduate of Rockvale High School and was a proud veteran of the United States Air Force. He was a retired Foreman with Bridgestone.

Memorials in memory of Mr. Harrison can be made to the Murfreesboro Alive Hospice.

A private graveside will be Friday at 3:00 p.m. in Roselawn Memorial Gardens. Pastor Miriam Seyler will officiate.
