Harvey W. Clark, Jr. age 83 of Murfreesboro died Wednesday, May 25, 2011 at MTMC. Mr. Clark was a native of Murfreesboro and son of the late Harvey W. Clark, Sr. and Gladys Elrod Clark. He was preceded in death by his wives Mary Bandy Clark and Francis Simmons Clark and a son David M. Clark. Graveside service will be at 11:00 a.m. Saturday at Evergreen Cemetery. Rev. John Todd will officiate. Visitation will be one hour prior to service at Woodfin Memorial Chapel. Mr. Clark is survived by a son Chuck Clark and his wife Kathy of Murfreesboro; a daughter Kevin Clements and her husband Joe of Roswell, GA; brother William E. Bill Clark and his wife Betsy of Murfreesboro; grandchildren Marie Woods, Mason, Todd and Garrett Clements, and Hannah Clark; four great-grandchildren. Mr. Clark was a retired sales person for Wilson Sporting Goods and was a veteran of WWII where he served in the Navy. He attended Training School, was a 1945 graduate of Murfreesboro CHS, and received his BS degree from MTSU. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
