Mr. Harry Lee Gateley, age 77, of Dover, TN passed away Monday, July 24, 2017. He was born in Big Sandy, TN to the late Newton Randolph Gateley and Pauline Holcomb. Mr. Gateley proudly served his country in the United States Army for 16 years where he was an MP and psychiatric social worker and was awarded the Bronze Star. He was a member of the American Legion Dover Post 72 and was of the Christian faith.

Mr. Gateley is survived by his wife of 39 years, Pamela Gateley; daughters, Christie North and her husband Danny, Candice Gateley, Dara Quilty and her husband Joe, and Charlotte Free and her husband Jason; brother, Frank Holcomb and his wife Denise; sisters, Paulette "Paula" Bonagura and her husband George, Frieda Phifer, Jimmie Fay Griffin and her husband Harding, and Sandy Rushing and her husband Chuck; six grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his step-father, James F. Holcomb; brother, William Thomas Gateley; and brother-in-law, Billy Wayne Phifer.

Visitation with the family will be Friday, July 28, 2017 from 12:00noon until 1:00pm at Woodfin Memorial Chapel. Funeral services will be held Friday, July 28, 2017 at 1:00pm. Bro. Garrette Milliken will officiate. Burial will take place in Roselawn Memorial Gardens.
