HARRIS D. PEYTON age 74 of Murfreesboro, TN, died Saturday May 15, 2010. A native of Hancock County, KY, he was the son of the late Louis Edward and Laura Frances Harris Peyton. Mr. Peyton is survived by his wife, Patricia Ruth Alvey Peyton; sons, Kevin (Stacey) Peyton of Murfreesboro, TN, Jeffery (Amy) Peyton of Smyrna, TN; daughters, Allison (Alan) Wilson of Henderson, KY, Angela (David) Wilson of Townsend, TN; brother, Keith Peyton of Evansville, IN; sisters, Kay Chapman of Evansville, IN and Lynda Brown of Owensboro, KY; grandchildren, Kevin Dale Peyton II, Kyle Wilson, Ethan Wilson and Austine Wilson. Funeral services will be 1:00 PM Tuesday at Woodfin Chapel, Smyrna with Rev. Bob Bush officiating. Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Gardens. Mr. Peyton was of the Presbyterian faith and was a retired U.S. Navy veteran after 20 years of service, and was also retired Director of Operation with Nashville Thermal Transfer Corp. He was preceded in death by a sister, Karen Duncan. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
