Harold Bell Watt passed away on November 15th. He was born December 24, 1919 in Augusta, Kansas to Harry Lee Watt and Delsie Brashears Watt. Harold was raised in Texas and graduated from Amarillo High School in 1938. After serving in the Army Air Corps from November 1940 to November 1945, he attended the University of Tulsa and graduated from the University of Arkansas in 1949 with a degree in geology. Harold was employed by the Lane Wells Company, which became Dresser Atlas, and retired in 1984 after 32 years with the company. Harold was a member of Kingsland Baptist Church in Katy,Texas. He was a 32nd degree Mason and a Shriner. He was also a member of the Society of Professional Well Log Analysts,, American Association of Petroleum Geologists, and Sigma Phi Epsilon fraternity. He was preceded in death by Mary Ruth, his wife of 48 years, and brothers Bob L,Watt and James E.Watt. Harold is survived by his daughters; Lisa Lang and husband Albert Lang III, Margaret Predmore and husband Dennis Predmore, and grand daughters: Rachael, Alexandra, and Victoria Robideau. Internment will be in the Evergreen Cemetery in Murfreesboro, Tennessee, on Friday November 26, 2010 11:00AM In lieu of flowers, donations to the Shriners Hospital for Children (shrinershq.org ) are requested.
