Obituary

Harold Harry Raymond Manley, age 74, passed away peacefully Friday, July 29, 2011 at his residence. A native of Highland, IL he was the son of the late Harold and Catherine Rapien Manley. He is also preceded in death by his sister, Maxine Charpentier. Funeral services will be held Monday at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church at 10:00AM. Father John Hendrick will officiate. Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery. Mr. Manley Is survived by his wife of 18 years, Jane Jenkins Manley; daughter, Leann (John) Shoot of Highland, IL; son, Randy (Sally) Manley of Wildwood, MO; stepson, Randall (Lisa) Robinson of Murfreesboro; 3 granddaughters, Krystal West, Emily Manley and Katie Manley; and 5 step grandchildren, Victoria Robinson, Olivia Robinson, Tyler Kohl, Ryan Kohl, and Jenny Kohl. Mr. Manley was a member of St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church. He transferred to Tennessee in 1980 as a production manager with Alton Box, before retiring as a salesman with Jamison Steel Rule and Die. Mr. Manley was a proud member of the Murfreesboro Moose Lodge No. 645. He had a passion for Baseball, Basketball, and Golf. Jerry Davenport, Wes Hinz, Dave Stein, Bill OBrien, Terry Clark, Bruce Dunnaway and J.T. Thompson will serve as pallbearers. Roy Eakes, Don Webb, Randall Hart, Jim Newman, Larry Clouatie, Jerry Lynch, Bill May and Billy Huffer will serve as honorary pallbearers. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the American Cancer Society, St. Judes Children Hospital or to Alive Hospice.
