Harold Ewin Douglas, Sr, age 77 of Murfreesboro passed away on Friday, February 17, 2017. He was a native of Bedford County and the son of the late John Wesley and Mary Ella Lovvern Douglas.

Funeral service will be 2:00pm Tuesday at Woodfin Memorial Chapel. Lee Douglas will officiate. Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery.

He is survived by his children, Harold Ewin Douglas, Jr of Murfreesboro, John Keith Douglas of Smyrna, and Kelvin Ray Douglas of McMinnville, siblings, Peggy D. Holden of Woodbury, Faye Barnes of Coco, FL, and Estal Douglas of Sparta, IL, and five grandchildren.

Mr. Douglas was a member of Salem Creek Church of Christ and a retired commercial painter.
