Rev. Harold W. Coke age 90, died Sunday, December 11, 2011 at Southern Hills Hospital. Rev. Coke was a native of Clarksville, TN and son of the late Newell C. and Ivor Mai Crawford Coke. He was also preceded in death by his wife Louise Thompson Coke who died in 2003 and a brother Rev. Norman C. Coke. Funeral service will be 2:30 PM Wednesday at Woodfin Funeral Chapel, Murfreesboro. Rev. Brian Rossbert will officiate. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers. Rev. Coke is survived by a daughter Deborah Louise Weldon of Lima, OH; two brothers Walton Coke of Clarkesville and Cecil W. Coke of Nashville; one sister Minerva Harris of Clarksville; five grandchildren, Shannon, La Shonda, Ashlugh and Dominique Weldon all of Lima, OH, Jon Robertson of Murfreesboro; caregivers, Bande Serra, Joy and Gabe Vicinanza. Rev. Coke was a graduate of Montgomery County Central High School, received his BS degree from Tennessee Tech, and his masters degree in Ministry of Divinity from Vanderbilt University. He was a member of Dalewood United Methodist Church and was a retired Methodist Minister. Visitation will be 3:00 until 7:00 PM Tuesday at Woodfin Funeral Chapel, Murfreesboro.
