Harmon Williams, age 88, of Murfreesboro, TN. died Tuesday, November 9, 2010 at Adams Place. A native of Gibson County, TN., he was the son of the late Roy and Lura McCollum. He is also preceded in death by his wife Dena Landrum Williams who died in 1995. Funeral services will be Saturday at 10:00 AM at Woodfin Memorial Chapel. Rev. Lyon Walkup Jr. will officiate. Graveside services will be held Saturday at 3:00 PM in Sharon Cemetery in Sharon, TN. Mr. Williams is survived by his daughter and son in law, Paula and Dr. John Bell of Murfreesboro; grandson Scott (Nicki) Bell of Nashville; granddaughter Karen (William) Braddy of Nashville and brother and sister in law, Paul and Laura Williams of Nashville. Mr. Williams was a member at Jerusalem Cumberland Presbyterian and a retired district sales manager with the Trane Co. He served in the United States Navy during World War II in the South Pacific as a radio operator. He was a member of the Smyrna Senior Citizens and a member in their band. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers. Visitation with the family will be from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM Friday at WOODFIN MEMORIAL CHAPEL. 893-5151
