Harlan Wayne "Super" Coop, age 77, passed away on Thursday, May 19, 2016. He was a native of Hohenwald, TN and the son of the late William Harlan and Louise Grammar Coop. He was also preceded in death by Norma Faye Coop and Bobby Wayne Coop.

Funeral service will be 11:00am Tuesday at Woodfin Chapel, Smyrna. Pastor Dwight Smitty will officiate. Burial will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens.

He is survived by his wife, Helen Coop, daughters, Vickie Coop of Smyrna, Bonnie (Toby) McCrary of Mt. Juliet, stepchildren, Debbie (Jeff) West of LaVergne, Todd (Monica) Loggins of Mt. Juliet, brother, Terry (Darlene) Coop, sisters, Jean Ellen Zimmerman and Charlotte Zimmerman, all of Hohenwald, 8 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.

Mr. Coop was a member of Liberty in Christ Church and retired as a printer from Baird-Ward Printing Company. He was also an avid fisherman and excellent marksman.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Alive Hospice or Liberty in Christ Church.
