Harin J. "HJ" Mahaffey, Jr., age 68 of Murfreesboro, died Thursday, September 6, 2018 at St. Thomas Rutherford Hospital. He was born in Rutherford County to the late Harin J. Mahaffey, Sr. and Ruth Harrell Mahaffey.

Survivors include his wife Sharon Mahaffey; sons, Scott Leon Mahaffey and Bob "Bubba" (Autumn) Morris, Jr; siblings, Linda (Ray) Russell, Ricky (Debbie) Mahaffey, Betty Ruth (David) Sanders, Janie (Phillip) Hearn, Frances (Daniel) Alaniz, David (Vicky) Mahaffey, Gladys Mahaffey (Lee), Buddy (Betty) Hale, Roy (Diane) Mahaffey; six grandchildren; one great grandchild; and a host of other loving nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Mr. Mahaffey retired as a shipping and receiving manager for Courier Printing.

Visitation will be Saturday, September 15, 2018 from 10:00 a.m. until the time of memorial services beginning at 12:00 noon at Woodfin Memorial Chapel.
