Gwendolyn L. Oatis-Neal, age 73 of Nashville, TN, passed away on Wednesday, April 29, 2020. She was a born and raised in Greenville, MS to the late Moore L. Oatis and Johnnie M. Oatis, but she lived most of her life in Nashville, TN. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Ronald Neal.

Ms. Oatis-Neal was a member of St. Vincent de-Paul Catholic Church and The Knights of Peter Claver Ladies Auxiliary Court 5. She was a graduate of Tennessee State University. She believed in helping her community and people furthering their education. This was displayed in her work as Vocational-Technical Career Guidance Counselor with the State of TN and later as a High School Guidance Counselor with Metro Nashville Public Schools.

Ms. Oatis-Neal is survived by her daughter, Jennifer Neal Moore and husband Michael; twin granddaughters, Jacqueline and Jillian Moore; and a host of family and friends.
