Obituary

BROWN, GRANVILLE, born September 7, 1919, he was the son of the late Jesse and Alice Brown. He was affectionately known as Stick by his family and close friends. He was a native of Murfreesboro and had for the past twenty years lived at Lakeshore Estates, Heartland in Donelson, Tn. Even though he was handicapped from birth, he preached for fifty years for Churches of Christ in Middle Tennessee. He is survived by his brother; Paul (Emma) Brown; nephew, Larry Brown; niece, Linda (Joel) Butts; great niece, Emily Butts; great nephew, Ethan Butts all of Nashville; Charles and Ernestine Taylor of Murfreesboro were his long time, dear and supportive friends. Funeral services 2 pm Tuesday, Woodfin Chapel, Smyrna with Jim Creech and Dan Harless officiating. Burial in Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation with the family 4-7 pm Monday and after 1 pm Tuesday at Woodfin Chapel, Smyrna.
