Grady Milton Jones, age 78 of Smyrna passed away on Sunday, January 15, 2017.  He was a native of Nashville, TN and the son of the late Thomas Milton and Lucy Jones. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Mary Sue Massie Jones, son, Grady Milton Jones, Jr., grandson, Judson Pryor, sisters, Peggy Bowling and Ella Parker.

Funeral service will be 12noon Thursday at Woodfin Chapel, Smyrna. Burial will follow in Bradley Creek Cemetery.

He is survived by daughter, Melodie Tidwell and her husband Terry of Smyrna, 3 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, sisters, Evelyn Thompson, Helen Ferrell and many nieces and nephews.

Mr. Jones was a member of the US Army National Guard before becoming a mechanic for the Railroad.
