Gracie Lucille Jones Harrell, age 74 of Smyrna, TN, died Saturday May 3, 2014. A native of Rutherford County, she was the daughter of the late Gracie Alvin and Margaret Lucille Pomeroy Jones. She was also preceded in death by two sisters, Erma Jean Jones and Julia Rebecca Ramsey. Mrs. Harrell is survived by her husband of 53 years, Vernie Harrell, Jr.; son, Randy Wayne Harrell of Smyrna, TN; brother, Alvin Thomas Jones of Lewisburg, TN; sisters, Linda Pearl Allen of Eddy, TX and Ellen Fay Jones of Smyrna, TN. Funeral service will be 1:00 PM Tuesday at Woodfin Chapel, Smyrna with Pastor Don Furbush and Pastor Joe Sissom officiating. Burial will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens with family and friends serving as pallbearers. Mrs. Harrell was a member of the Free Methodist Church and a retired Hair Stylist.
