GRACE Ms. Smith SMITH, age 86 of Murfreesboro died Saturday October 23, 2010. She was a native of Lodi, New Jersey and was preceded in death by her husband, Willis Smith, two daughters, Caroline Smith, Almeda Burkey, granddaughter, Denise Burkey, sisters, Almeda Wilfer, Agnes Dupuy and her parents, Louis Preston and Rose Matera Stanton. She attended Fellowship United Methodist Church and was retired McDonald Douglas. She is survived by daughter Belita Wanderer and husband Herb of Murfreesboro; grandchildren, Matthew Miller, Susan Cordes and husband Chris both Murfreesboro, Christine Castellani , Eric Bradshaw both of Missouri, Michael Burkey and wife Leslie, Paul Burkey of California; great-grandchildren, Brody Cordes, Alexia Burkey Brandon Burkey, and several other great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. A celebration of Ms. Graces life will be Saturday October 30, 2010 at her home; 2502 Racquet Club Dr. Murfreesboro TN from 5:00PM to 9:00PM with entombment at Forest Lawn Cemetery in California at a later date.
