GRACE G. (TRIX) ADCOCK, age 93, of Christiana died Sunday, November 9, 2008 at Stones River Manor. She was a native of Rutherford County and was the daughter of the late John Wesley & Mary Pinkerton Gentry. She is survived by her brother, Rev. John W. Gentry of Christiana; grandchildren, Lynne (Lee) Young and Jeff Adcock; great grandson, Jonathan Young; daughter in law, Robbie Chrisman Adcock all of Christiana and several nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be at 2 pm Tuesday at the Miller Cemetery in Christiana. Visitation with the family will follow the service. A celebration of Life will be conducted at 3 pm Sunday, November 16, 2008 at Stones River Manor. Mrs. Adcock was married to the late John Hugh Adcock, Sr. who died in 1993 and was preceded in death by her son, John Hugh Adcock, Jr. She was a member of the Christiana Presbyterian Church, a retired nurses technician having worked at VA Hospital of Murfreesboro, Clover Bottom Developmental Center and Smyrna Hospital. Memorials in memory of Mrs. Adcock may be made to the Christiana Presbyterian Pre-School, the Christiana Elementary School Library or Stones River Manor.
