Gordon G. Warner, Jr., It is with great sadness that the family of Gordon G. Warner, Jr. announces his passing on Tuesday, February 6, 2018, at the age of 61 years.  A long-time resident of Smyrna, TN, he was the son of Patricia Warner of St. Petersburg, FL, and of the late Gordon G. Warner, Sr., of Knoxville, TN.

Visitation will be held Saturday, February 10, 2018 at 12:00 p.m. at St. Luke Catholic Church in Smyrna, TN, immediately followed by a Funeral Mass at 1:00 p.m. with Military Honors.  Father Jacob Dio will officiate with a private burial to follow.

Gordon will be lovingly remembered by his high-school sweetheart and wife of 41 years, Cindy Wilson Warner, his children, son Brenton Warner and his wife Kristen with grandchildren Johnathan, Elizabeth, Zachary, Nicholas, Matthew, and Cameron of Murfreesboro, TN; son Barrett Warner of Smyrna, TN; sister Karen Hart and her husband Bruce of Harrisonburg, VA; brother Greg Warner and wife Liz of Frederick, MA; along with many nieces and nephews.

Born in Lakewood, Ohio and raised in Oak Ridge, TN, he graduated from Oak Ridge High School and attended East Tennessee State University before entering the service with the United States Navy as a submarine sonar operator faithfully serving our great nation for 6 years.  Gordon was recognized as a talented X-Ray Service Technician and Specialist for Philips and GE Healthcare prior to his retirement to chase his grandchildren full time.  Gordon will always be remembered by family and friends for his laugh, smile, and uncanny ability to bring joy to others.

In lieu of flowers, memorials in memory of Mr. Warner can be made to the St. Luke Capital Campaign or Building Renovation Fund.
