GOLDIE LEE PURCELL, age 75, of Lavergne, died Thursday, January 22, 2009. She was a native of Maury County and the daughter of the late Robert Lee and Mary Elizabeth Barnhill Bradford. She was also preceded death by siblings, Lois Holton, Oma Sutherland, and Venus Bradford. Funeral service will be 10:00 am Monday at Woodfin Chapel, Smyrna. Tim Lavender will officiate. Burial will follow in Hermitage Memorial Gardens. She is survived by her husband, Junior M. Purcell, stepchildren, Glenn Purcell of Lavergne, Patsy Burton of Cottontown, Jackie Purcell of Nashville, niece: Pamela Holton of Smyrna, step grandchildren, Bryan Purcell, Manika Logue, Mitchell Hutchinson, Wesley Hutchinson, step great grandchildren, Sam Hutchinson, Ryan Logue, Alexis Purcell and Hayven Logue. Mrs. Purcell attended the Smyrna Church of Christ. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
