Glynette Vandergriff Russell passed on to heaven at her home in Woodstock, Georgia Thursday, November 19, 2015. She was born in Woodbury, Tennessee, a daughter of the late Robert Lytle Vandergriff and Effie Helen Bogle. She was also preceded by brothers and sisters, Jack Vandergriff, Wanda Vandergriff, Gene Vandergriff and Darrell Dement.

Survivors include a daughter, Carol S. Russell of Georgia; a nephew, John Crespenel; a niece, Mistye Garrett; cousins, John William Bogle, Inez Cain, Margurette Sitzes, Ruth Rahleder, Dinah House, Waldene Price, Ronnie Vandygrift, Connie Glenn and Jim Vandergrift; and other loving family and friends.

Mrs. Russell had attended and was married in the Peachtree Christian Church in Atlanta. She was a faithful Christian and a loving and devoted mother who loved children.

Visitation will be Tuesday, December 1, 2015 from 2:00 p.m. until the time of funeral services beginning at 7:00 p.m. at Woodfin Memorial Chapel. Burial will take place in Atlanta, Georgia at a later date.

Memorials may be made to the charity of your choice in memory of Mrs. Russell.
