Glyn Douglas Watson, Sr, age 89 of Murfreesboro, Tennessee died Saturday, March 22, 2025. He was born in Fayetteville, Tennessee on June 12, 1935, to the late John and Nellie Watson. He was also preceded in death by his wife of 54 years, Darrell Thorpe Watson, and two sons, Doug and Kevin Watson.

He is survived by daughters, Angela Watson and Pamela Watson, many nieces and nephews, and a host of friends and members of the Salem Creek Church of Christ.

Glyn worked in construction most of his life and he enjoyed woodworking, gardening, and sitting under his shade tree.

Visitation will be at Woodfin Memorial Chapel, Friday, March 28, 2025, from 11:00am until the time of funeral services beginning at 1:00pm. Burial will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens with family serving as pallbearers.
