Glenna Benge Janes age 86 of LaVergne passed away Wednesday November 27, 2013. A native of Red Springs, Texas she was the daughter of the late Simon and Gladice Hatter Benge. She is also preceded in death by her of husband of 66 years Edward M. Janes who died September 18, 2012, a brother James Benge, and a sister Ailene Plunket. Mrs. Janes is survived by her children daughters Debbie Kirk of Smyrna, Karen Carey and her husband Dane of LaVergne, son Edward Janes and his wife Patti of Fort Smith, AR., nine grandchildren; Stephani Morrison of Poteau, OK., Shawn Janes of Waldron, AR., Brooklin Janes of Hot Springs, AR., Kelly Lee of Smyrna, Jeffrey Carey, Chris, Carey, David Carey all of LaVergne. Cory Kirk of Frisco,TX., Matthew Kirk of Smyrna, five great-grandchildren, brother Billy Benge and his wife Patsy of Seymour,TX., and sisters Betty Dutton of Greenville,TX., Emma Ennis of Hot Springs, AR. Mrs. Janes retired as an operator for South Western Bell Phone Company. Visitation will be Saturday December 7, 2013 at 1:00pm until time of Memorial Service at 2:00pm at Caruth-Hale Funeral Home 155 Section Line Road, Hot Springs, AR., (501)525-0555.
