Gladys Talley, age 97 of LaVergne died Wednesday April 17, 2013. She was a native of Cannon County and was preceded in death by her husband of 67 years Clarence Talley, and her parents, Robert, and Callie Mae Bates Mooneyham; brothers, Jess, Ernie, Colonel, Leonard, and Herbert Mooneyham; sisters, Mamie Travis, Tiny Stacy; great-grandchildren, Shannon Bryan. Mrs. Talley was a member of Gilroy Church of Christ and a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great-grandmother. She is survived by her children; Gary Talley of Florida , Bill Talley of Antioch, Charles Talley and wife Beverly of Christiana, Margaret Bryan of Florida; 12 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, 10 great-great-grandchildren. Funeral service will be 1:30 PM Sunday at Woodfin Chapel, Smyrna. Brother Jerry Maxwell, and Brother Jon Gary Williams will officiate.
