GETTY JOE WILLIAMS SR. age 65 of Smyrna, died Sunday December 21, 2008 at Alive Hospice Saint Thomas Hospital. A native of Smiths Grove, Kentucky he was the son of the late Woodrow and Lucy Majors Williams. Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Wednesday at Woodfin Chapel Smyrna with Bill Dillon officiating. Burial will be at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday in Kinser Cemetery in Brownsville, Kentucky. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers. He is survived by his wife of 41 years Judy Williams, daughters: Lisa Downs, Kim Comer both of Smyrna, Cari Wilson of Murfreesboro, sons: Ricky Williams, Randy Williams both of Smyrna, Joey Williams of Brentwood, Thomas Williams of Murfreesboro, and fourteen grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
