Gertrude "Trudy" Jones Frost, age 81of Murfreesboro died Monday at Rutherford Hospital. She was a native of Crescent Community and was the daughter of the late Mack H. and Martha Tomlinson Jones. She was preceded in death by her sister, Mildred Hargis Sands, and brother, Charlie Mack Jones. Mrs. Frost was a member of North Boulevard Church of Christ. She along with her sister Mildred Hargis were owners of Millies Wedding Service and was former employee of the Rutheford County Property Assessors office. Mrs. Frost was a board member of Stones River Manor and member of Association of Ladies for Lipscomb University. Funeral service will be 11:00AM Wednesday at Woodfin Memorial Chapel. Brother Darryl Lewis and Brother Julian Goodpaster will officiate. Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers. Mrs. Frost is survived by her beloved husband of 61 years, J. Carroll Frost; son, Steve Frost and wife Brenda of Murfreesboro; Daughter Beth Frost Walker of Louisville, KY. Ruth Frost Qualls and husband Chris of Emory Virginia; brother, John Hodge Jones and wife Elaine of Crescent, Wendell Jones and wife Karen of Crescent; five grandchildren, Angel Frost Byrum of Mt.
