Gertrude Singleton, age 85 of Dilton Community, died Saturday, November 10, 2012. She a native of Rutherford County and daughter of the late George L. and Josie Lee Fleming Singleton. Graveside service will be 2:00pm Wednesday at Dilton Cemetery. Bro. David Ash will officiate. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers. Visitation will be from 4:00 until 8:00pm Tuesday at Woodfin Memorial Chapel. Miss Singleton is survived by her brothers, John Singleton and his wife Becky of Apex, NC, Richard Singleton of Greenbrier, TN. She was preceded in death by sisters, Edith Carter, Mary Singleton, Martha Williams, and a brother, Pete Singleton.
