Gertrude Pollard "Trudy" Weldy, age 96 of Smyrna, TN, passed away Thursday, September 1, 2022. A native of Kenly, NC, she was the daughter of the late Matthew Paul and Louvenia Latta Pollard. Mrs. Weldy was also preceded in death by her husband, Frank Weldy; sons, Leonard W. Morris, Jr., and Bill Morris; brothers Willis and Mark Pollard; and sister, Carolyn B. Hufford.

Mrs. Weldy is survived by her daughter, Phyllis A. Razo of Smyrna, TN; grandchildren, Michele Reding, Matthew Razo, Troy and Scott Morris; great-grandchildren, Johnathan, Taylor, Matthew, Maximus, Mia, Arya, and Avvy; and a great-great-grandson, Jaxon.

Visitation will be held from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM Monday at Abiding Faith Lutheran Church. Funeral service will be 4:00 PM at the church following the visitation with Pastor Keith Schleis officiating. Graveside service will be held 10:00 AM Tuesday at Roselawn Memorial Gardens with Johnathan Reding, Scott Morris, Mark Wilbanks, Robert Benson, Myron Pflueger, and William Reding serving as pallbearers.

Mrs. Weldy was a member of Abiding Faith Lutheran Church.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Abiding Faith Lutheran Church in memory of Mrs. Weldy.
