Gertrude Elsie Clarke, age 81, of Smyrna went to be with the Lord on Thursday, July 12, 2012. She was a native of Philadelphia, PA and the daughter of the late Blasius and Gertrude Maier Schmidt. She is survived by her husband, George Bruce Clarke, children, Kenneth Bruce Clarke, Linda Susan Connelly, Gertrude Lynne Robertson, Nancy Jean Plunkett, and George Michael Clarke, 9 grandchildren, and 4 great grandchildren.
