Mrs. Geraldine Cherry Richardson, age 81, of Murfreesboro, TN passed away Saturday, September 8, 2018. She was born in Wartrace, TN to the late Escal Granville and Elizabeth Armstrong Cherry. Mrs. Richardson was known as an excellent seamstress who specialized in curtains and a homemaker to her family. She was a faithful member of Sharpsville Church of Christ.

Mrs. Richardson is survived by her husband of 61 years, Glendon Richardson; sons, Glendon Bruce Richardson and his wife Ona Leesha of Lebanon, TN and Barry Lee Richardson and his wife Kelly of Murfreesboro; grandchildren, Joshua Bruce and his wife Marina, Rachel Halbert, Christopher Richardson and his wife Melanie, Abby Merryman and her husband Ian, and Parker Lee Richardson; siblings, Boyd Cherry, Agnes Haynes, and Alice Stem; brother-in-law, Jimmy Lee Richardson; nine great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Morgan Cherry, and sister, Martha Insell.

Visitation with the family will be Monday, September 10, 2018 from 4:00pm until 8:00pm at Woodfin Memorial Chapel. Funeral services will be Tuesday, September 11, 2018 at 11:00am at Woodfin Memorial Chapel. Bro. James Lively will officiate. Burial will take place in Roselawn Memorial Gardens.
