Gerald Burgess Lee, age 78, of Smyrna, TN, died Sunday, July 22, 2018. A native of Smyrna, he was preceded in death by his parents, William Winstead and Ellen Burgess Lee; sister, Barbara Burgnon; brother, Braden Lee; and sister, Eloise Lee.

He is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Evelyn Johns Lee; sons, Gerald "Gerry" Burgess Lee II and his wife Donna, and Ben J. Lee; grandchildren, TJ Lee and Geoffrey Lee; siblings, Jannette Gwynne, Annette Taylor and her husband Jimmie, Bill Lee and his wife Betty, and Karen Shaver and her husband Dale all of Smyrna, TN; along with many loving nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family.

Mr. Lee attended the First Presbyterian Church of Smyrna and Kedron United Methodist Church. A 1958 graduate of Smyrna High School, he was the co-owner and operator with his wife of Lee Line Bus Sales in Smyrna for many years. He was a proud 50 year member of Sam Davis Masonic Lodge #661, the Nashville Scottish Rite, and the Al Menah Shriners Temple in Nashville. He will be greatly missed by his family and many friends.

A Celebration of Life will be Saturday at 2:00 p.m. at Woodfin Chapel in Smyrna. Pastor Shawn Thomas Smith will officiate. A masonic service will talk place during the service. Visitation will be Saturday from 12:00 noon to 2:00 p.m.
