Gerald Watson "Haney" Haynes, age 81 of Murfreesboro, passed away on Saturday, July 29, 2017. He was a native of Bell Buckle and the son of the late Robert Curtis and Lena Louise Lamb Haynes. He was also preceded in death by his brothers, Charles and David Haynes, sister, Dot Gerhart.

Funeral service will be 2:00pm Tuesday at Woodfin Memorial Chapel. Steve Goforth will officiate. Burial will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens.

He is survived by his wife, Mickie Jones Haynes, son, Tony C. Haynes and his wife Vicky of Murfreesboro, daughter, Tammy East and her husband Barrett of Oak Hill, VA, sisters, Linda Stacy and Judy Shipley of Murfreesboro, grandchildren, Meagan Reed and her husband Ricky, Kendall and Carter East, great grandson, Easton Reed.

Mr. Haynes served in the US Army National Guard and was retired from International Paper Company after 35 years.
