Georgia Lang Ewing age 73 of Smyrna, passed away Saturday November 16, 2013. A native of Douglas, Georiga she was the daughter of the late John E. and Bertie Lou Padgett Blocker. Mrs. Ewing is survived by her husband of 49 years; William Edwin Ewing, her children; daughter Cheryl Lea Sartain of Murfreesboro, sons; Paul Lebus Ewing of Syracuse, Utah, Phillip Ewing and his wife Betty Ann of Murfreesboro,daughter Shelia Rae Reed and her husband James Allan of Cookeville, daughter Angela Pennington of Tampa, Florida, Preston Eric Ewing and his wife Aubrey of Draper, Utah, 27 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Mrs. Ewing is a member of The Church of Jesus Christ Latter Day Saints Smyrna Ward. Visitation will be 11:00 until 1:00pm Tuesday at The Church of Jesus Christ Latter Day Saints, 316 Mayfield Drive, Smyrna Tennessee 37167. Funeral service will be 1:30pm Tuesday at the church with Bishop Jonathan Lifferth officiaiting. Burial will follow in Mapleview Cemetery with family and friends serving as pallbearers.
