GEORGE ELAM TUCKER, JR. age 53 of Murfreesboro, died Monday August, 3, 2009. Born in Petersburg, TN, he was formerly of Shelbyville, TN. and was the son of the late George Elam and Mabel Dean Watson Tucker, Sr. Mr. Tucker is survived by son, Matt Tucker, daughters, Sarah and Abby Tucker all of Murfreesboro. He is also survived by the Mother of his children, Barbara Tucker of Murfreesboro, and brothers, Bob Cummings of Delaware and Larry Pierce of Clinton, TN. Memorial service will be held 2:00PM Friday at Woodfin Memorial Chapel. Father James Kallarackan officiating. Mr. Tucker was Secretary and Treasurer with Two Rivers Ford. Honorary pallbearers will be Chuck Arnold, John Morgan, Alex Duprel, Jerome Rainey, Will Alcorn, and Rick Snoddy. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Seigel High School Rugby and Swim Team Athletic Programs or to the George Tucker Benefit Fund at Suntrust Bank, 2725 Old Lebanon Road, Nashville, TN 37214 to be used for the education of the Tucker children.
