Mr. George William Taylor, age 79, formerly of St. Louis, MO passed away Monday, February 26, 2024. He was born in Nashville, TN to the late George Washington Taylor and Adell Myrtle Mae McDonald Taylor. Mr. Taylor retired as a maintenance supervisor for McCormack, Baron, Salazar. He enjoyed spending time with his family while being outdoors fishing and hunting. Mr. Taylor was involved with the neighborhood watch program while living in St. Louis. He listened to all kinds of music but especially enjoyed Céline Dion.

Mr. Taylor is survived by his son, Dwayne Taylor and his wife Michelle; grandchildren, Ryan, Justin, Alexandria, Trevor, Nathan, Samantha, and Lauren; and several great grandchildren; siblings, Addie Beckett, Almai Branch, Katie Steward, Freddie Thurman, Gloria Williams, and Debbie Covington; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 56 years, Pat Taylor, and sister, Jearline Smith.

Visitation with the family will be Saturday, March 16, 2024 from 10:00am until 11:00am at Woodfin Memorial Chapel. A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, March 16, 2024 at 11:00am at Woodfin Memorial Chapel.
