Mr. George Stanley Mefford, Sr., age 67, of Murfreesboro, TN passed away Saturday, September 21, 2019. He was born in Murfreesboro to the late George Hicks and Clara Baskin Mefford. Mr. Mefford retired as a machinist for JP Hennessy. He loved working on old cars and hot rods while listening to AC/DC. Mr. Mefford made sure to watch The Price is Right when the opportunity arose.

Mr. Mefford is survived by his sons, George Stanley Mefford, Jr., Charles Adam Mefford, and Kelley Ryan Mefford and his wife Tia; and grandchildren, Ethan Scott Mefford and Lily Elizabeth Mefford all of Murfreesboro. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Carolyn B. Juliano.

Visitation with the family will be Tuesday, September 24, 2019 from 4:00pm until 6:00pm at Woodfin Memorial Chapel.
