George Greg Raymond Noren, age 73, of Antioch, died Monday, October 15, 2012 at the VA Hospital in Nashville. Mr. Noren was the son of the late Lowell Augustav and Ruth Arline Artz Noren. Mr. Noren is survived by his wife of 36 years Lorna Jeanne Carvalho Noren; children Steven Lowell (Jill) Noren of VA, John Sulic Noren of MD, Jason Derek (Lori) Porter of MA, Brigit Shaney (Jay) Steely of MA, Tanya Ramonde (Ken) Garrett of Bell Buckle, and George Lowell (Nickie) Noren of Nashville; cousin Barbara Family of CO; 9 grandchildren; and 4 great-grandchildren. Funeral service will be 10:30 AM Saturday at St. Marks Episcopal Church in Antioch. Rev. Battle Beasley will officiate. Visitation will be 3:00 PM until 8:00 PM Friday at Woodfin Funeral Chapel, Smyrna. Memorials may be made to the VA Medical Center, Veterans Service of Nashville in memory of Mr. Noren.
