It is with great sadness that the family of George B. Clarke of Smyrna, TN, announces his passing after a long illness on Tuesday, October 1 ^st , 2019 at the age of 91 years.  George was born on February 21, 1928 in Philadelphia, PA to the late Arthur Edward and Mary Bruce (Scott) Clarke.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Gertrude Elsie (Schmidt) Clarke and siblings, Arthur Clarke and Florence Kliewer.

George will be lovingly remembered by his children, Kenneth Clarke and wife Sigridur of Bluffton, SC; Linda Connelly and husband Timothy of Ambler, PA; Trudy Robertson of Smyrna, TN; Nancy Plunkett and husband James of Greencastle, PA; and George Clarke and wife Julie of Ocala, FL.  George will also be missed by his grandchildren, Jonathan Clarke, Kristofer Clarke, Tomas Clarke, Heather Menon, Lara Allworth, Steven Robertson, Corey Robertson, Michael Clarke, Jeremy Clarke, and Ian Clarke; his four great-grandchildren, Kiran, Rohan, Keegan, Raegan; by his loving sister, Mary Gahagan, as well as extended family and dear friends.

Family members will hold a private graveside service on Friday, October 11 ^th 2019 at 2:00pm at Lawnview Cemetery, 500 Huntingdon Pike, Rockledge, PA 19046.
