GEORGE WILLIAM CHEW, SR. age 68 of Murfreesboro, TN, died Thursday October 29, 2009. A native of Linden, N.J., he was the son of the late Reginald and Helen Knorr Chew. Funeral Services will be at 10:00 A.M. Monday, November, 2, 2009 at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church with Father Mark Sappenfield officiating. Internment will be in Evergreen Cemetery. Mr. Chew is survived by his wife June Browne Chew, his sons and daughter in law; George and Janna Chew Jr. of Murfreesboro and Brian Chew of Murfreesboro, daughter Karen Chew of Nashville, sisters; Edith Infinito of Linden, NJ., and Grace Siregar of Lake Lucerne, GA., six grandchildren, Ashli, Anna, Duncan, Audrey, Aiden, and Joshua Chew. Mr. Chew was a 1964 graduate of Fordham University and was a pharmacist at K-Mart and had served in the US Navy. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
