Geneva Christyne Melton, age 94, of Murfreesboro, died Thursday, November 17, 2011. She was a native of Cottontown, TN and the daughter of the late Lee Roy and Hassie Crafton Glover. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Samuel Paul Melton, brothers, James Roy, Leon, Glenwood, and Howard Glover, sisters, Louise Moore and Lola Mae Beerman. Funeral service will be 2:00pm Saturday at Woodfin Memorial Chapel. Rev. Jim Avaritt will officiate. Burial will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens. She is survived by her son, Paul G. Melton of Murfreesboro, brother, Harold Crafton Glover of Old Hickory and numerous nieces and nephews. Mrs. Melton was a member of Bellwood Baptist Church and retired from General Electric.
